Being a student, when you need more examples and references to your studies, look no other than the UNITEN library. Books, thesis, journals and also e-resources can be found here in a conducive environment for all research needs.
Having a total number of collection of 109,694 volumes, which consists of books, periodicals, serials, conference papers, reports, standards and non book materials which is more than ample of prints for a person to digest. These include past year examination papers and thesis of students.
The library has a seating capacity for 1,074 users, having spacious reading areas furnished with updated facilities and technology, the library is the best place to hang out for a student for a quiet and private study time. There is also a 24-hour reading area, for students to conduct their studies, especially during exams.
The Library began its operations in 1997, consisting of 6 levels occupying a total floor area of approximately 18,645.2 square meters, being among the biggest in Southeast Asia.
Coming into the main entrance of the UNITEN campus, the library is located directly in the front portion of the Campus, which cannot be missed by anyone due to its unique eye-catching architecture.
Each student is allowed to borrow up to 15 books or materials at any given time for a period of 2 weeks. These items exclude reference materials which cannot be taken out of the library. To make life easier, the library allows students to renew the books online without the hassle of bringing them back. This can be done for 2 renewals. There is a 24 hour book drop box, whereby one can just drop in the due books anytime of the day.
To search for a material, the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) enables users to find materials based on availability and location. This service can also be accessed outside the campus. One can reserve a book before borrowing if it is on loan to another party.
An orientation program is often done for new students to ensure that all students are aware and educated on the facilities of the library. A continuous program of User Education Services is done to ensure that anyone can walk in to request to be trained on using a particular service by the professional team of staff.
Internet service is provided to students by the library at level 2, where 30 computers are provided. Wifi service is provided to ensure that research can be done at the comfort of one’s own laptop.

Fridays: 9.00 am - 1.00 pm, 2.30 pm - 10.00 pm
Saturdays: 9.00 am - 4.00 pm
During Term breaks
Mondays to Thursdays: 9.00 am - 5.15 pm
Fridays: 9.00 am - 12.30 pm, 2.30 pm - 5.00 pm
Saturdays: 9.00 am - 4.00 pm
Sundays: 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
